Chris is a caring, experienced hypnotherapist dedicated to empowering committed individuals make tangible, lasting positive change through the therapeutic application of hypnosis (the trance state).

Having completed a conversion degree in Psychology at Oxford Brookes University with distinction, Chris trained with the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis (ICH), one of the UK's most recognised, recommended and accredited provider of courses in Clinical Hyponotherapy. She was awarded the Professional Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (DCH) with distinction. Continuing her training at the ICH, Chris was later awarded the Advanced Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP). Chris is a member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS).

Echelon Associates Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice has been registered by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK regulator for complementary healthcare and, as such, has become one of the first in the country to achieve a new national standard of excellence for therapy. The recognition places Chris at the forefront of a national drive to provide a benchmark for standards and safety for the public. Practitioners registered with the CNHC meet national occupational standards and abide by a rigorous code of conduct, performance and ethics.

Echelon Associates is also registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and is accredited by the National Regulatory Register for Hypnotherapy (NRH) and the Hypnotherapy Register.

Chris is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions, her psychotherapeutic approach (aiming to uncover and address the root of the issue) is both compassionate and goal orientated.  She employs hypnosis to empower individuals who want to change to move beyond the constraints of the past and establish an authentic sense of personal responsibility and control, self-direction and freedom of choice regarding the future.
